Since resigning from The "rescue," I have signed up with several other local rescues to foster. For me, that was always the best part of starting your own rescue, anyway. So, besides crossposting dogs looking for Forever Homes and Rescue here on this site and on Facebook, I thought, why not work with other rescues to continue fostering and doing what I do best. Puppy Mill Awareness Day is tomorrow. Dan (my son), Ginger and I arrived about an hour ago. Jacquie and Liz are on their way. We saw about 6 other doggies coming into the hotel. A couple beautiful Afghan Hounds, among them. Our wing of the hotel must be all dogs, because when someone walks past their doors, you can hear barking or sniffing at the bottom of the doors. Of course, Ginger had the say HI to all of them. Blake and Shamus, will be here, too.
