Founded in 2008 as "Rescued Doodles" on another website and doodlerescuecollective.com was started in January 2009

and is the home to Oodles of Doodles, Inc. / Oodles of Doodles Rescue Collective

We are a Federal 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, charitable organization since 2010.

We are comprised of a "collective" of volunteers dedicated to Poodle, Doodle, Schnoodle and Poo-mix rescue and education. Oodles of Doodles provides foster homes, vet care, rehabilitation, transport and quality forever homes for dogs in need. We also provide support services and educational resources for owners and rescuers and re-home assistance for those needing to find new forever homes for their family pets.

Oodles of Doodles, Inc. Rescue Collective is an all volunteer, non-profit organization. We are dedicated to providing a new life for rescued or displaced Poodles, Doodles, Poodle Mix, and other Fuzzy dogs.

All our rescue dogs undergo an initial veterinary screening, treatment as required and then they are placed in loving foster homes for nurturing, socializing and further evaluation.

All our rescue dogs who are offered for adoption have been vaccinated, spayed/neutered, started on heart worm prevention and have received treatment for any prevailing medical or health conditions.

All our rescue dogs are only placed in approved adoptive homes. To be approved, an application must be submitted, if it matches the needs of the dog, a telephone interview will be conducted, references checked, a home visit with all family members is scheduled and a trial period of 1 to 2 weeks is granted.

We are dedicated to placing homeless Poodles, Doodles and Poodle-mixes in loving, responsible, permanent homes.

Oodles of Doodles Rescue Collective also offers discussion, community and educational materials via brochure, educational events and articles within this web site.

Oodles of Doodles Rescue Collective offers a successful Rehome Program, helping families find the perfect adopters in a safe, anonymous and approved manner. Rehoming is stressful for family and dog. We work with families to ensure their dog goes to "perfect" families for the needs of that dog. See Rehome Guidelines for more information.

We participate in the low cost spay/neuter program for New Jersey, #R161 - Dept. Health/Human Svcs.

Our goal is to promote and advance responsible pet ownership. We are run completely by volunteers who have other jobs and families. Please be patient in waiting for a response.

We are based out of NJ, but have foster homes in other states. Foster Partners always wanted.
