OofD is getting puppies. Kelly loves puppies. So, we are getting puppies.

Meet Buffy, the mom, and her three little packages.

These cutie-pies will be coming to NJ very soon.

Help us come up with names for these tiny packages of fluff.

There are four pups.

Buffy will be coming

to NJ, too. Her foster

mom, Gail is working

with her so she gets

over her fears and learns

to trust, again.

Gotcha. Probably a good idea.

Lynne, Cassie was scheduled for wormer with her shots yesterday, but I thought it might be better to wait and give it to her after she arrived. Wormer can be upsetting to puppy tummies and I didn't want to risk an upset stomach for traveling so I sent her meds with her. I had to leave the needle on the syringe to prevent the meds from leaking out. (She gets the wormer orally and not by injection as it might appear..LOL)

That's amazing for 9 week old pups! Certainly, Kelly will be grateful. We just bought her a large play pen, so she's ready.

I do have them, for the mostpart, pad trained, unbelievably, at their young ages. I might have to send some of the blue hospital pads, that I was using to start their training, for an easy transition to regular pads. Regular pads were serving no purpose through the many games of "tug of war." The blue pads were tug proof.

OK, that would be great. Just let me know who is coming so I can keep their files straight. They all sound sweet. Kelly loves puppies, so I am sure she won't mind either way but she may be able to adopt Candy sooner and be ready for the rest.

I had the two darker puppies on the trip sheet, but could substitute the two Goldens, Candee and Randy. I will see Carla this morning and let her know.  The "little" Golden Girl, Candee, which isn't little at all compared to the others, is the quietest and sweetest girl....definitely has a "Lab" personality. Andy, the big fellow who is pictured alone in the above picture, is just a big, ole' loveable klutz and accident "waiting to happen."  Dandee is a "needy" little guy who needs lots of reassurance......and Randy, well, he is usually under the others, being the runt of the litter, and gets overlooked most of the time.  He is so much smaller than the rest, that he can easily walk under them. Last "weigh in", Randee weighed 4 pounds while Andy weighed nearly 9 pounds.

Thanks Gail. Carla sent the Trip Sheet last night. Any chance you have a pic of the 2 coming next week? Kelly wanted the Golden Girl as her ex-husband is interested in her. Plus, a prettier pic of Buffy would help, too. It's gonna be a busy Summer, LOL. I'll order the crate today, too.

On their Vet records, I tentatively named them Andy, Randy, Candee and Dandy.
