Listed as Black Russian Terrier brothers is need: At Catawba County AC, NC (Newton, NC)
They look like Doodles to a lot of folks.

1. "Camden" A141513 is a 10 month old Black Russian Terrier mix who came in with his brother “Canyon” (A141512). They have 2 different personalities and are easiest to tell apart since Camden has more white on his chest and Canyons ears go up when you make a noise. Camden doesn’t walk as well as Canyon on a leash. He loves attention but is more independent than Canyon. Intake date was 6-29, moved up for adoption & available date was 7-3. I would like to have him out by 7/14. Please email if you can help this little boy out.

2. "Canyon" A141512 is a 10 month old intact Black Russian Terrier mix. He is VERY loving and sweet. He was a stray. He walks pretty well on the leash and came in with his brother “Camden” (A141513). Intake was 6-29, available date & was moved up for adoption on 7-3. I would like to have him out by 7/14. Please email if you can help this little boy out.
They are about 35-40lbs....

PLEASE NOTE! THIS SHELTER MUST APPROVE A RESCUE BEFORE I CAN PULL THE DOG, THE APPLICATION IS ATTACHED! Shelter is located in Catawba County, NC which is Newton, NC (1 hour from Winston Salem, Charlotte, Asheville, and Gastonia) I have transport contacts to get them to out of state rescues.

Rescue coordinator: Jennifer Sigmon: JenniferSigmon@catawbacountync.gov
I volunteer my time with this shelter to help pull and transport dogs on top of my full time job. If you can help any of these please email me:
crystallovesdogrescue2@gmail.com (default email crystalize82@hotmail.com).
There is no pull fee for 501c3 rescue.
If you want spay/neuter $60, HW test $15, microchip $15. Vaccines are free.

For rescues interested in pulling….There is an approval process we go through in order to better acquaint ourselves with the mission of the rescue groups interested in pulling animals from us. The following items must be submitted for review and approval:
1) Fill out the Rescue Group Agreement – which is attached
2) A copy of the rescue group’s 501(c)3 IRS form

CA - *HARRY* - Harry does not bark or whine and would make a great family dog. He is a 3-year-old Terrier mix and weighs 15 lbs. Harry knows how to walk on a leash and is always ready to take a walk to see people and places. Harry does very well with other dogs and cats. He likes to be held and petted and enough likes to be in your lap. Harry is much more interested in people than he is in toys. Harry has been in the overcrowded shelter longer than some dogs.

EXTREMELY URGENT!

To All Members of URGENT DIN -

Nice job pulling together, yesterday and getting the info across to everyone. BUT - We need folks to volunteer to help. We started this rescue so that ordinary people can do extraordinary things working as a COLLECTIVE, to save dogs. So far, several EXTRAORDINARY people have joined and ARE making a difference in the lives of DEATH ROW dogs.

Please remember, it is imperative that we communicate everything that has been done so that we are not duplicating our efforts. The DRRC is making progress in the Rescue Community and we have to all be on the same page if we want to continue to be taken seriously.

When Jacquie or Jeannine posts a URGENT DIN dog, they will tell everyone what they have done and if they are taking the lead. Please refer to that lead person and that discussion before you do anything else. If there is no lead person, someone needs to STEP UP and VOLUNTEER to lead.

Volunteering is what this Collective is all about, AND making a difference in some, even small, way. We have almost 200 members, 36 in this group alone and only a few are actively involved in this effort. We need more of you to help out so more dogs can be saved.

I will start a discussion here called URGENT DIN RESOURCES and put the letter to shelters and this plea in there, we will also put how to help suggestions, other rescue groups that can be called and our emails so that everyone has the resources to become a lead on a rescue.

Thank You, in advance, to all of you who do whatever they can to help save dogs. - DRRC Admin.
