WELCOME TO DOGS IN **URGENT** NEED! In a partnership with the rescue and shelter community we CROSS-POST dogs across the US and CANADA that are in URGENT need of assistance and IN DANGER of being euthanized.

If you know of a kill shelter to watch, that is not in our list, please let us know. URGENT dogs are in danger of being euthanized at any time.

If you can help, please don't wait...go get him or her and we will help by listing and finding a home. You can keep the Adoption Fee to cover any expenses.

This poor, neglected poodle was part of a hoarding situation. Sadly,he is at an overrun shelter, and about to lose his life through no fault of his own. 'Ty' is guessed to be 10 years old or a little younger. He is sweet, happy, and friendly.

He would be a wonderful companion for a senior, but sadly, most seniors seem to want puppies. From my experience, older dogs are much better companions for retired adults, as puppies have endless energy and can be destructive.

Please don't let Ty be killed because he isn't 'young' anymore. Transport to Denver is available at no additional cost. Ty's adoption fee will be the actual cost of his neuter, vaccines, and health certificate, along with a heartworm/erlichia/lyme test.

This 2 year old [Poodle?] has seen a lot of neglect in his young life. While he should have been pampered and groomed, instead his hair hangs in dreadlocks. He was so happy to see me, but shy. It has been a week, and no one has adopted him, as perhaps they can't see past the tangles and shyness. Please help Murray if you can. He will obviously be such a sweetheart of a dog.

Cocker Spaniel/Poodle Mix

This precious little guy is on death row at a rural shelter. They are overrun with dogs, and he will be euthanized if not committed for this weekend.

The little guy has a name tag on, but nobody claimed him...he is a sweet, friendly little guy and full of love.
