FIRST ANNUAL "OTHER THAN A DOODLE" CUTEST DOG PHOTO CONTEST

To celebrate our becoming a community of "other than doodle" dog owners, we thought it would be fun to introduce everyone to our "other than doodle" dogs. In the past, we only focused on our doodle friends and the "other" dogs in our lives were left out of the "doodley" discussions.

Well...not any more.

Upload a picture of your "other" breed dog, (your cat, turtle, parrot or iguana are invited, too).

Our judges will narrow the pictures down to the cutest 4 and all members will vote on their favorite "other than a doodle" dog!

RULES & HOW TO -

1. You must be a member of Rescue Resource Collective to participate in this contest.

2. You may upload as many choices as you want, but you can only have one pet per person in the final four finalists.

3. To upload a picture, click on the tiny camera in the comment box below, then upload a picture from your computer.

4. Once you upload the picture, tell us your pet's name, what breed (or species) he or she is and a brief bit about him or her.

5. If you have any questions, drop by my page and leave me a note.

PRIZE - $25 Gift Certificate to Petco.com to the winner.

Oh, LOOK...it's a Bunny-Doodle. LOL It's fun to see people's "Other Than Doodles" Pets.

We had 2 bunnies given to us, years ago. They were so much fun and behaved just like a cat. Used a litter box and loved to sit and be petted. They almost purred. Both have passed on, now but my son, Sam still has the picture of his bunny on his bulletin board.

They make great pets!

Yes, I never knew how cuddley bunnies can be and now after I found this one on the side of the road......I now know the true meaning of Cuddle bunny! She warms right up to anyone then LEANS into being petted. I love her forever head tilt too, only took $ + to rid the ear infection she came with, and probably the reason she was left,.....It does not slow her down one bit.

Thanks! My vet thinks she's a pit mix with potentially some boxer, lab, and shepherd. She's just such a sweetheat and, I've always thought of pits as potentially agressive dogs, but if she is one, she's the sweetest pit I know :)

Pits do get a bad rap because of what has been done to them. I have met quite a few who a snuggable, cuddly lapdogs. It all goes to how they are raised and treated. She's a Heinz 57 cutie. That's all that matters.

One of ours lost the use of his hind legs toward the end of his life. He didn't skip a beat. Scooted around like it was nothing for about 8 months. They are such sweet critters. Sad someone would just drop her off. Idiots! I am glad you found her.
