Hi Lynn, Thanks. Yes, I am. I was originally attracted to them by their low allergen, but after seeing some of those faces, they really are quite a special dog on their own merit. I hope we can get one soon, as my kids are soooo excited.

Maggie is doing really great Lynne. We are making milestones over here. She is still skittish but learning to trust us now. Her tail is up most of the time and she seems to be settling in. She loves her dog bed and happily sleeps in her crate next to Annie in our bedroom at night. She had her first grooming and looks beautiful. We are giving her lots of love and reassuring her constantly. She's stopped barking and crying now when I leave the room and is feeling more secure about being left alone. She is my sweet angel,,,we love her very much. So far so good,,I'm sure she will continue to improve with each day. She's become a great walker now and is starting to put on weight and some muscle,,I think she is proud of herself when we go to the Park and holds her head up high. Maggie inspires me each day with her resilience and her ability to trust us after all she has been through. This beautiful dog was obviously abused at the hands of a human and is trying desperately to overcome her fears. Each day is another triumph for Maggie and the progress has been remarkable! Thank you for asking about her and for your constant support!

Hi, how are you?? I have been so busy with work and my Dad, there just aren't enough hours to get it all done! Ron and I are going to sneak away to FL for a long weekend tomorrow. He hasn't been able to travel since being on dialysis and now that he has the new kidney and is doing so well, he said "let's go!" I've got a housesitter coming for the dogs, so they can stay at home and there is no trauma boarding htem...lol. I will say hello to Gwen, definately! Take care...Susan

I have been looking at that weekly. However, most of the adoptables require a fenced in yard which i don't have at this time. I will keep looking but if you hear of something new let me know! thanks a bunch!

Hi Lynne,,things are going pretty well over here. Maggie is making the slow adjustment,,but coming along beautifully. She is becoming more social and much more trusting with each day. Maggie has the loudest most awesome bark that defies all reasoning with the fact that she has been debarked. She lets me know anytime I leave the room or attempt to crate her that she DOES have a voice and intends to use it!! hahahaha We have been walking twice a day, everyday and the both of us are looking to get in shape!! I got my first kiss from her today and it was great. I love her endlessly and hug her and kiss her every chance I get. We are working on manners now,,she took a loaf of italian bread off the counter, hahahaha, and will get there in time. For now, we are doing remarkably well for a dog who spent 4 years in a cage. She is my goofball and I am enjoying every moment with her.

Lynne, all went well at the vet,,she has a loss of muscle in most of her body,,but hopefully with lots of exercise that will get better. Her ears were very infected but they removed the hair from them and gave me drops to put in and that should clear the infection. Otherwise, she really is okay. My baby weighs 56 pounds!! Big girl! We love her so much and I am so grateful to have her. I'm having a great time over here,,thank you my forever friend,,you are my angel for finding her for me!

Thanks Lynne, I will read the article as soon as I get back from the Vet. Maggie is doing well,,scared but okay. She ate, slept and is making it just great! The funniest thing,,,,Maggie CAN bark! hahahaha

I believe you were sent to me,,things always happen for a reason,,you brought me my "Maggie". I will let you know how she does and try to post some pictures of her SMILING!!
