My how FAST they GROW!!!

It seems like just yesterday my Brody Bones was just a sad little puppy that was shaved due to a neglected coat, and now he's a furry horse! He's enormous, much bigger than I expected... like Chewbacca from Star Wars... only white.

And so it begins... my life as a Doodle Daddy.
Brody came to his new forever home today. To get prepared, I went shopping for my new pal. We got him his bed, and some bowls on an elevated wrought iron stand, a Harley Davidson "Bad To The Bone" matching collar and leash set and of course, TOYS! YAHOO!
Jackie came to our home and met my wife and kids, and introduced us to our new dude... I mean Dood.

LOL Anyway, Thanks for joining the site, bumping up some discussions and your desire to own one (or several) of these amazing creatures. I saw you put in an app on Brody. I can't believe how many we have to go through. Jac and I are going to try to go through them tonite. We are still accessing him as we've only had him for a few days now. But he seems a real sweety. Like I said, put in lots of apps and it will happen more quickly.

AdminLynne Fowler - Admin said… - Hi, Kevin. You seem to really be taking an active role in finding that "perfect" doodle. My best advice is to use the Adoptable Doodles for your region to put in applications all over the place. Once you are approved, shelters call their approved apps before they even list on Petfinder. You can always refuse but it shortens the wait time and process. Good luck in your search, shout if you need anything. -Lynne

What should you do now? If you haven’t changed your icon photo to something more personal, it's easy to do...
Under the pawprint logo on your page click on "change photo" then "profile pic" blue/green box. Upload a pic from your computer...browse, add, done. Don't forget to click save on the bottom and you should now have your own icon pic. You can also make your page personal and add some of your own pics by following other prompts on your main page. Your page is yours to add, change or do with as you wish. Don't be afraid to explore it.
Next, come join some discussions in the Main Forum, Start your own Blog and Join a few groups. Don't forget to click "Follow" or "Notify" in any discussion you wish to follow.
