I applied for Jack, but today I saw that he was adopted! I also realized I had made a mistake in my application by leaving my name out and putting the dog's name where mine should be.

Today I applied for Brody, so excited because my maiden name is Brodie so I felt like he was a doggie angel for us, but he was adopted too! Bummer. I must be doing something wrong. I know there is the perfect dog out there for us, I just have to learn the proper procedure/timing. Any suggestions are welcome!

Hello Lynne - I am a member of DRC and would like to submit an application to adopt. I do not have a pet in mind yet, I was just going to submit the application and wait for approval, then look for a pet. Am I able to submit my application this way? Thank You, Mary Hohenwarter

Thanks Lynne,,I have contacted the trainer that Adrianne recommended and she seems great. She will be coming out to my house next Friday and we will be working together for the next 6 weeks. Hopefully, this will provide some much needed assistance. Overall Maggie has done terrific,,,a big change in the past months,,,we just need to get her over the housebreaking and shyness hurdle now and we should be home free. She is such a great dog who is trying to let go of past fears,,her life will be so much fuller once she is confident and trusting. Thanks for everything, Debbie

Hey Lynne,,wondering if you have the name of a trainer that I could hire for Maggie to work on housebreaking and this intense shyness. I need to get some professional help in here,,,we have made some progress but seem to be stuck now. Thanks,Debbie

I love your pics on your page! Thanks for the info! Last April I wanted to rescue a doodle and coundn't find but two in TX. At the time they would not consider a family so far away and I was in shock that there werent more doodles to adopt. I am so happy that you guys are making a big difference for doodles. I actually felt guilty buying a dog from a breeder but I wanted a doodle so badly. She is such a love!

I did put in an application a few days ago and am interested in Harley (7 mo old doodle). I am interested in a young one, around the same age as my girl. If you know anything about Harley please let me know. He is beautiful!

I appreciate your help!

Thanks! I've enjoyed reading some of the posts and am so sad at the number of doodles in need of homes! What you guys do is totally amazing and you are so special. Thanks for doing what you do!

Licorice is doing great. Our backyard is now fenced and she loves to go outside and run with the kids at least 2-3 times per day and her favorite toy always goes with her. We are still working on her jumping and mouthing issues, but she is a love. I added new pictures on my site. Thank you for finding us our new family member.

Just adopted "Oliver" from idog and he is a sweetheart. They say his mom was standard and dad was a britney spaniel but doesn't look like anything like those 2. I guess I can't call him a doodle - i guess he would be a .... (don't quite know). He is about 14lbs and is black just like his sister zoey. I hear she is a sweety as well, she should find a home real soon.

Hi Mrs. Fowler! I just had the first J.D.R.C. meeting this evening with the J.D.R.C. board. All of them are going to set up an account here. The meeting went fantastic. We discussed what we'd be doing for the fundraiser, and how to advertise it. We decided that we would hang posters around our school and hand out broshures and flyers that my friends and I have made. We are going to do a bakesale infront of Pets Mart if it is ok with them. With every 2 things people buy, they'll get a home made doggy bicuit that my mom is making. This is going to be so fun!!!!!!! Thank you for my first comment and the support!
Love
Anna K.

Lynn, I posted some pictures of Licorice. What a love she is and just wants to play and get attention. We are working on the jumping issue and the trying to run out the front door, but other than that, she is a perfect fit for our family. She is at the groomer now for her first grooming and I will post more pictures after. Thank you again for our wonderful new addition.

Do you take/want an application if there is no specific doodle you are applying for? (none in the area, all adopted) for the DRC?

I know our perfect doodle is out there, the waiting is just so hard, we are lost without a dog in our home. How long does it usually take to get one once your application has been approved (which I think ours was).

Lynn: I'm sorry, but I cannot forster any dogs at this time. I have a 6 and 8 year old that would get too attached and would cry when we had to give it up. I hope you understand. Please keep us in mind if another Doodle comes up that you think would be the right fit for us. To me, all dogs are the right fit : )
