- Are you now involved in Rescue? If so how?
- We would love to rescue a doodle! We love our doodle so much and we love the breed in general. I can't believe that I am able to love an animal just as much if not more than my dear old Bentley who passed in March. Maybe its because our doodle was so needed emotionally for both my husband and I.

AdminLynne Fowler - Admin said… - Awh, Thanks, Karen. This all started when someone, about a year ago, said that there were no doodles in rescue. We started finding and listing doodles all over North America who are looking for forever homes and were given up or abandoned by their families because they got too big, required too much commitment or shed when they were told that doodles don't shed. There are breeders out there charging $1500 to $2500 for a doodle, who is basically a hybrid of retriever and poodle. No AKC, just a mix. Yet, they are sometimes portrayed as a miracle dog, the "IT" dog and everyone should have one.
Sadly, they are not the perfect dog unless loved, trained and understood. We love them, believe in training them and teaching about them and understand the hype, the good about them and the downsides about them. We set out to rescue, help and educate people before more doodles become causalities of the lies of unscrupulous breeders and puppy mills.
Over the past few months, we have grown and are now rescuing, fostering and adopting out doodles in our own program. We work with other rescues and shelters and are one of very few rescues who have incorporated the forum where people can ask questions, get advice or give input to other's about this beautiful dog.
We are based out of NJ and now have Reps in CT, FL, TX and AZ, who work with us to save as many as we can. We hope you are able to find another doodle to add to your family and if we can help in any way, please don't hesitate to ask. -Lynne

What should you do now? If you haven’t changed your icon photo to something more personal, it's easy to do...
Under the pawprint logo on your page click on "change photo" then "profile pic" blue/green box. Upload a pic from your computer...browse, add, done. Don't forget to click save on the bottom and you should now have your own icon pic. You can also make your page personal and add some of your own pics by following other prompts on your main page. Your page is yours to add, change or do with as you wish. Don't be afraid to explore it.
Come join some groups! There is a lot to learn. Don't forget to click on "Follow" or "Notify" in Forum and Discussions. That way you get an e-mail notice whenever someone posts. Join the Suggestion Box Group, too. Ask questions and play around. Let us know if you need anything.
Next, come join some discussions in the Main Forum, Start your own Blog and Join a few groups. Don't forget to click "Follow" or "Notify" in any discussion you wish to follow.
