Hi Nannette, Sorry I did not get back to you earlier. You know how it is with time. I am dying to know how Oliver is doing. Did you keep that name? He must have grown...please send me som photos of him. He was a definite favorite of mine and so adventurous. He was always getting into things out in the backyard and trying to get under the fence. A real character. I remember one night coming home and finding that he and Abby (those two were my favorintes) had managed to escape out of the pen and greeted me at the back door....thankfully my two dogs hed been OK with them. I also have some video of them all digging in an old mole hole and I am sure Oliver is on it......must check it out. If so I will see how to put it on to Youtube (will have to learn how to do it one day) so that you can see it.
We know nothing about their background except that the owner of the mother came in to a local shelter crying saying that she couldn't cope anymore (and I must admit I didn't realize just how much work six young puppies are). She said that it was an accidental pairlng with her standard poodle and her neighbors Brittany Spaniel...who knows whether it was accidental but I don't think she will be doing it again.
My personal email is pathirst at msndotcom. Again I would love to hear how he is doing and see some recent photos. Thanks for adopting him and taking him into your home and hearts. Pat.
Sorry I am unable to respond right now as I am on VC and sailing tomorrow on a cruise with no access to internet. Here at the hotel it is costing a pretty penny per minute so just letting you know that I am not ignoring you. I will definitely be in touch when I get back....love to hear more about my....ooops I mean the puppies :)
I am sorry for the loss of your doodle. I hope you can find another special dood who can fill your heart with doodly love, again. If we can help just let me know.
