Part 5 of My name is Marco and This is My Story.......

My mom had back surgery and I went to Dallas to be with her so it was Marco home alone with Rob, Papa, and the cats. I knew he would be fine but he is such a Mama's boy that I was a little nervous about leaving him. I had been gone a couple of days and the weather was beautiful so Rob left him in the backyard for a few hours......When he got home he went to let Marco in and discovered that he had been chewing on the door frame and locked doggy door for hours trying to get inside.....bad, bad boy....but who can blame him given his abused, neglected history.....he is definitely a city boy and wants to be inside all of the time!!!!! When I talked to Rob that night he was actually pretty calm about the destroyed door (thank GOD Rob's a handyman) and said he would fix it which he actually already has.....

Now we fast forward about a week. After days of coaching, coaxing, and patience, Marco finally has realized he can not only go out the doggy door but can actually come IN it.!!!!!! Yeah, no more worries on that end and he is so very proud of himself........all day long I hear flap, flap as he constantly goes out and in, out and in, out and in, etc., etc., etc.

I have the same thing times 3. I put a big doggy door in when I added on a family room to the back of my house about 2 years ago. It was the best investment I ever made.
