Okay, this seems stupid here, but I don't see anyone's email addys. I've written the 2 transport groups and referred them here, but Lynne, Judy, and Elizabeth's emails aren't handy here. BTW, Elizabeth, PM is Puppymill. Glenda got those 57 dogs from a PM who was closing down - either in AR of MO. We are going to see lots more of that with the new law in MO.

I can wholeheartedly recommend PETS, LLC for transports. Go to www.petsllc.net. I've know them for about 8 years.

Additionally, the husbands of the ladies who founded Critter Cavalry in Franklin TN are now running their own transport. They adopt enough dogs in New England that they set up their own transport. When room is available, they will allow other dogs on the transport.

BOTH groups are highly reputable and follow all the DOT rules.

Pets,LLC is located in Cookeville TN and I guess Critter Cavalry runs out of Franklin. I will ask both to write you with all details.

BTW, the Goldendoodle Marley who was in a high kill shelter was adopted the same day I got an email about him - last Saturday. It was a direct adoption from the shelter to an older senior lady who will give him loads of attention. It was a great placement. Yea!

Lynne, my favorite land transport (but it is not primarily rescue) is in Adkins, TX. LNT. I have had several rescues come through them and the dogs must have thought they were in the finest Bed and Breakfast. Where they have room they will take rescue dogs, their fee is fairly high as they transport alot of dogs for private people (opposed to rescues), but where they can they will. They keep in contact all along the route and the van's are well equipped and suited for animal transport. I have been so pleased that I know if I had to send any of my own dogs anywhere they would be the "private" transport company I would call. Very kind to the dogs and kitty cats who travel and you can tell on arrival.
Doesn't replace at all the rescue transports, but in an emergency, if they have room on a route they will help. They travel all over the U.S., I don't know if they are in Canada or not. Duh, didn't check your links before I posted this...a little tired this evening.
