FIRST ANNUAL "OTHER THAN A DOODLE" CUTEST DOG PHOTO CONTEST

To celebrate our becoming a community of "other than doodle" dog owners, we thought it would be fun to introduce everyone to our "other than doodle" dogs. In the past, we only focused on our doodle friends and the "other" dogs in our lives were left out of the "doodley" discussions.

Well...not any more.

Upload a picture of your "other" breed dog, (your cat, turtle, parrot or iguana are invited, too).

Our judges will narrow the pictures down to the cutest 4 and all members will vote on their favorite "other than a doodle" dog!

RULES & HOW TO -

1. You must be a member of Rescue Resource Collective to participate in this contest.
2. You may upload as many choices as you want, but you can only have one pet per person in the final four finalists.
3. To upload a picture, click on the tiny camera in the comment box below, then upload a picture from your computer.
4. Once you upload the picture, tell us your pet's name, what breed (or species) he or she is and a brief bit about him or her.
5. If you have any questions, drop by my page and leave me a note.

PRIZE - $25 Gift Certificate to Petco.com to the winner.

Who is this beauty?? Love it!
It's Amanda's Sammie. I had to put the pic into the discussion to copy it for the judging.

Don't know if this counts, as it is two dogs. The bigger dog is my rescue from a backyard shed where she was locked without food or water with 9 babies for 7.5 weeks (or more). Her name is Sadie. Our chihuahua girl was found at 4 months of age after being tossed out of a car window on the highway. She had 3 major surguries before we were able to save her leg. All is perfect now!
I love this pic. Reminds me of my Sammie who will lie down to drink water out of the bowl sometimes - it's quite funny actually.
Thanks Deb! He is very laid back and spoiled like all the others!
OMG - how awful! But you gave them a wonderful second chance, and it shows in those beautiful faces.
OMGx2 - You are a rescue angel, Deb. I am glad all is well now but it must have been tough.

This is a picture of Olivia (Livvy) and Teddy, our two standard poodle puppies! They were about 7 months when we took this. They are now 1 years old and just as sweet :)
They are actually from the same litter...they are "twins" and best friends :)
They are gorgeous! I will always have a soft spot for poodle puppies. They are gorgeous creatures and you are wonderful for adopting them together. They should be the poster children for poodles. LOL I love that "cocked" head.

Hunter is a 1 year old Lab/Sharpie. He i was rescued from a very very bad home. By the time i got him at 4 months of age he had been badly beet. As a resolt he has seziers. His faverit things to do is swim swim and blay ball. Did i tell u he liked to swim. He is a very happy outgoing boy and i am glade that he is a member of my clan of 3.
Awh...you have done a good thing with him. I have an abused boy myself. They do take some time to come around but when they do, it is a wonderful thing. My boy is a swimmer, also. Out of 5 dogs, he is the only one who loves it. I have to block the steps to keep him out. LOL
