Looking for a doodle in Florida

My family and I are looking to adopt a doodle in Florida. We would travel anywhere in Flordia to get them, but we live in South Florida. My son has allergies, and after extensive research, found that a doodle would be the way to go providing it is the right generation. Please let me know if anyone can help. I have put in an application for Finn, who is in Florida and who we love already. Just trying to keep all options open incase we are not a fit for Finn.

Annemarie, here is a beautiful goldendoodle! This is a smaller version of my dog! He looks so much like him that they could be brothers! He is in Bradenton, FL. 1.5 years old, house trained. Owner turn in to the shelter. $60 to adopt!!! GO GET HIM!!!!

Thank you Susan. He is beautiful!! We really want him, but we can not get there until Saturday. He is 3 1/2 hours away and my kids get out of school so early, that I would not be back in time to get them from school. I called, and even offered more money if they would hold him until then and they will not. I am very sad. He would really fit into our family and is exactly what we are looking for. If they were open yesterday I would have gone. I was trying to explain my situation and the person, who did not even leave her name, did not want to hear it. They do not do holds. I guess if it is ment to be, then he will still be there on Saturday. But someone already called for more information about him. {{sigh}} :(

Ahh, what a shame. He sounded so perfect! I just hope he finds a great home! You will find a doodle. Just be patient (which is hard to do).....

There is also Piper in Palm Bay, but she looks like she may shed a little and is only 8 months so needs children over 7 years old in the family.

Hi Annemarie,

We live in the Tampa Area and are looking for a good home for our Golden Doodle. We actually rescued him in the past week and have given him a temporary home. Shadow is 5 1/2 year old male, who has been nuetered, chipped and up to date on all his shots and was just groomed. He has lots of energy and needs a good, fun loving family to take care of hime. That is awesome as we are looking to rescue one rather than buy one. Is he house trained? Also, do you know if he has fur or hair. Just wondering for allergy purposes.
