MEET FLYNN - http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/18035063

Flynn is a 3 month old, first gen. Labradoodle boy from a BYB (puppy mill) in PA. This sweet boy was adopted by his "breeder" to a family in New Jersey. He was returned to the "breeder" because he wasn't holding down his food and their vet said it would be an expensive surgery to fix an esophagus problem.

Flynn has only been with me for a few hours but in that time, he met my pack, played with some puppy chew toys that I found around the house and has eaten my homecooking several times and has had no problems. I started by giving him a few bites here and there and he held it down and came back for more. Just plain chicken, smashed peas and brown rice.

I went looking at the papers that came with him and the family was feeding Purina Puppy Chow. Could this be the problem? We will see. I have an appointment for Monday and some housetraining to do, then Flynn will be looking for his new Forever Family.

I bet after he has adjusted and had a regular schedulr and a GOOD FOOD he will do just fine. He is active and needs to have his energy focused.

He may have been kept in a crate and not given the attention he needed and that could upset him as well and they do have health problems from that and the food is horrible. Alot of people don't know what to do with a puppy that is active. It always amazes me that people will pay hundreds of dollars on the puppy then feed the cheapest food possible. We got a Schnauzer in that had a coach collar on but the owners gave her up because they couldn't afford to have bladder surgery to remove stones, go figure, the collar cost more than the surgery almost. Another puppy was given up because she wasn't loving enough? Puppies like all dogs have to bond and mature first dah. I have a 2 1/2 poodle puppy that was given up because her sugar kept dropping and they didn't want to spend anymore money at the vets, why all they had to do was feed her 4 to 5 times a day to keep (hypoglycemia ) the dog from getting sick as the vet told them. They paid $800. for her and didn't want to pay any more??? Stupid people I have no sympathy for sorry. She is a very lively girl, kisses me all the time, love em.

Patricia, I am hoping the crap in a bag is what was causing his problems. The fact that his vet didn't offer alternatives, you know, pisses me off. I will wean him off that garbage and get him on a natural diet, as all my dogs are on. Any adopter will have to agree to natural "real" foods for all my dogs.

LOL, He doesn't know what to sniff, eat, play with, where to run, chase, look, crash into, jump on .... first. I told you, he is a gangly, leggy, happy boy.

Oh, just look at the curious puppy in the video. Flynn doesn't know what to sniff first.
