Guess who's coming to NJ?
Surrendered to a kill shelter down South, Dolly is a sweet.......
What breed do you think she is?
Dolly is a gorgeous Itty Bitty who found herself in a Southern Kill Shelter and was rescued and was transported to NJ. Dolly is very sweet and is a little shy at first, but warms up and trusts quickly. She is only about 15 pounds and we would prefer a home without small children and a physical fence. Dolly is being fostered in Toms River, NJ, and her foster mom says she is near perfect. If you are interested in adopting Dolly and giving her a Forever Home, please send an application.

Hi Lynn, My Dolly should be arriving soon. Please let me know how she is doing. I miss her so much, but have spent the day with Eddie and Shirley, who will be coming your way in a couple of weeks. They are also a joy and I am sure it will be just as hard to send them off as it was Dolly. I am just an old softie who loves the doggies.
Gail, you can go to your page (the My Page Tab, above) and post them on your own page, or you can start a blog and tell your stories. On your page, they will be in a slide show that will run by itself. A blog is like a diary and you are very welcome to share all your foster stories. There's also a Foster Group (under Resources tab) but I haven't had time to work on it much lately.
If you have any other pics of Dolly, you are welcome to post them here, just click on the tiny photo (second icon over the comment box and upload from your computer). We would love to see them.
These pictures posted above of Dolly is when she was in a pen at the Vet and had just left the Kill Shelter. The pictures at the Shelter were horrific and so sad. That is why I went immediately to get her. Even at the Vet, you can tell Dolly is traumatized to the point she is depressed, despondent and won't make eye contact. The new Dolly is a completely different doggie and is so much more trusting just three weeks later. Always ready to run up to you with a wagging tail, a hug around the leg, and a fond lick. Good eye contact, happy, and ready to please.
Now you have me crying, too, Gail. I know it's hard, I still cry with every foster that goes home, too. By this time tomorrow, she will be here and I promise tons of hugs and kisses from me and her new foster mom, Lisa.
Thank you so much for loving her and helping her on her way. I am sending hugs your way, now.
Dear Gail,
You got me crying like a baby here... Dolly look so sweet and special that I'm not surprise she is "the" perfect doggy. Thank you so much for everything you are doing for those little ones. You are not only their foster Mom but also their angel.
