We all loved him so much. Is she a doodle? I was sure she was a "pure breed. Golden! She is beautiful and look so gentle and sweet.

Ahhh...Pretty Girl Shelby. She is an awesome dog. My Mom fell in love with her when she visited last month. And very low shed! Breeder couldn't sell her because "she wasn't curly enough" and "never came into heat for breeding". Well, she's getting curlier all the time. And - she came into heat not long after I got her! Grant got to her before I could stop them. I have to be honest that I agonized over aborting their pups and having her spayed, but, after all, I AM a RESCUE - she was scheduled to be spayed the day after Grant died. I put it off until the next Monday out of respect for him. And - she turned out NOT to be pregnant - whew! Clean conscious for me. I always would have wished deep down to have had one of Grant's babies. Such beautiful, sweet dogs. RIP, dear Grant....we are all fine down here.
