WOMAN BEATEN AT WILDWOOD PARK/DOG STOLEN..PLEASE HELP! (Harrisburg/Susquehanna Twp.)

On March 21st, my mother was walking her GoldenDoodle (named Monroe) at Wildwood Nature Center in Harrisburg. She was approaced by two men she could only describe as being in their 20's or early 30's with brown hair, one with glasses. They were walking a black dog that she thought to be a chocolate lab. They began to talk to her, asking what kind of dog hers was, and the man with the dog began walking away. Before she knew it, the other man had hit her in the temple with a rock the size of a fist...She fell to the ground and the man ran off with her dog.

The park authorities are aware of what has happened and there are posters in the office of the park. Apparently, this has happened before. In addition to the park, 3 local authorites are involved in the investigation including the Susquehanna Twp, Lower Paxton Twp, and Harrisburg Twp.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, help us bring Monroe home. He is a very loving and affectionate dog, but is easily scared sometimes. If you happen to see this dog in a car, please get the liscense plate number, or if you see anyone with it. PLEASE do something...call the police, follow them to their address etc...
