In this job I see a lot of animals that people call "nothing
special". So I am sending out a plea for "nothing special".

Meet Chocolate she is an 8-10 year old mix of "nothing specials".
Her age makes her undesirable.
Her size at about 35-40, even though she is obviously thin, is to large for
most people who come looking.
Her mostly black body with that "nothing special" red dog color
thrown in gets her over looked.
Her body is sagging from the dozens of "nothing special" litters that
she has produced.
She came from the county living as a country dog.
She lived with 13 other dogs in a trailer that they were abandoned in..... She
was trash thrown away because she was "nothing special".
She has no house training. Of the 13 dogs she is the only one that asked to be
touched.
The only one who wanted to be near human companions.
The only one who looked into my eyes on her last day and said "please
don't."

That makes her special to me.

Please I am begging for a rescue to step forward and take this girl home. I
don't know how much time on this earth she has left but she deserves to be
"something special" for once in her life.

She has not been tested for anything. Rescue would be responsible for vetting.

I KNOW! I read that and I was in tears. I think I'm too soft for this work. Don't you just want to throw your arms around that sad neck and kiss that sad face? I hope she finds a special Forever Home.
