It's been about 3 months now that we were lucky enough to find a dood in need living with a family that didn't have time for her or it seemed the interest in her as a "person with fur"! One toy(who loves critters and has one toy?), crated for 8-10 hours a day, no grooming and very little vet attention. She absorbs love like a sponge and is part of our family now like she has always been here. The better news is after her complete physical and wellness exam, she has been pronounced"perfect" by our vet(of course, we already knew that). She survived the neglect and came out with a great report card. Our vet was amazed at anyone giving up this beautiful dog. I just want to thank the folks on this great site who are there with great information, help and support. Without all of you, we wouldn't have had the knowledge or insight that told us we were on the right tract when we began our search to find a doodle of our own. Thank you all.
