A doodle is an aimless, absent-minded drawing scribbled while preoccupied by Patch. These drawings often resemble canine adventures with friends - hence we call these canine friends “Doodles”. Doodlers are doggies like Patch who are seeking doodles to play with when they are looking for mischief to get into.
Doodites are the people (us) who work for the Patch (Doodler) dogs and their Doodle friends, cleaning up after them and making sure they have food, water and treats on a regular basis. The Doodites also ensure that the Doodles get their exercise, vaccinations, and give them all the love and affection they need when they need it. Doodles are like small children and grandchildren in this respect.
Occasionally a Doodle will need rescuing if it’s in trouble and has been separated from its Doodite. A new Doodite must then be found so the doodle can continue its mischievous activity within the security of a Dome (Doodle Home). Additionally the Doodites answer the often asked and sometimes doodled foolish questions posed by both human and canine Doodlers and Doodles. This note is a good example.
Kisses and hugs to the doodles and doodlers in your house,
Mom

Ok, one question. What is a Doodle and why does it need rescuing?
