Update on Finnegan

Hi all, I wanted to let you all know that Finny is doing great! My 1-year old nephew, Jack, LOVES him and follows him everywhere when we visit (which is most weekends). Finnegan's energy level has gone through the roof (comparatively, he's still a mellow dog) and he is very fit (thanks to my sister taking him running and long hikes with me in the woods). Finn acts much more like the 2-year old he is - spinning and jumping and playing all the time now. He's obsessed with playing ball. It's getting to where I can't even take him out in the backyard now unless I'm going to play ball with him because if I don't bring a ball, he spends the whole time trying to figure out where I'm hiding the ball. He checks my pockets, jumps up to try and grab my hand (thinking the ball is in my hand) - not a good habit, I know, we are working on it! Anyway, I've pasted a couple of pics. below of Finn and my nephew. Jack is fascinated with Finn's teeth - Finn is super about letting him touch them :)

He's driving me crazy right now, he has misplaced his LAST tennis ball under 2 feet of snow in the backyard (he had it 10 minutes ago!) and fully expects that I'm going to embark on an arctic expedition to locate the tennis ball. I took a quick look out there and almost killed myself (it's all iced over after melting a bit today) and I'm not going back out so Finny is sitting here "whuffing" at me and trying to get me to go back out there and find his ball.
I need to stock up on many, many tennis balls! :) Take care, Jenny!

Aww these photos are precious! My boyfriend and I were just saying we love Finn's fur cut. He looks so adorable. Smiley face just like Tessa.

He is a beautiful, happy boy and I am so grateful to you, Helen for loving and adoring him and letting him be a happy 2 year old doodle. I always said that Finn deserved the best home and I believe he has it. He is such a gentle soul and the pic with your nephew is priceless.
