Precious is a gorgeous 10 year old Doodle/Sheepdog/Mix dumped at a kill shelter in Virginia. Oodles of Doodles wanted to bring her to NJ to find her Forever Home when it was discovered she was Heartworm positive, and then had breast cancer, probably from years of breeding. Precious has spent her entire life, never knowing the love of her own family or happy mornings of snuggling or the kindness of a human touch. 

Because Precious is HW+, she could not cross state borders, that is easily treated, but the discovery of breast cancer, put a further damper on our bringing her to NJ. 

Our rescue Partners, Paws of SWVA, has found her a long term foster, to aid her during her treatment and we are hoping and praying, Precious does well enough that we can bring her to NJ in the Spring of 2012.

In the meantime, Precious needs surgery, medicines and expensive vetting. If all our members can spare just a few dollars, we can raise enough to accomplish it all and Precious will get adopted and finally know real love for the rest of her days.
