Meet Dodger

Dodger is a 2 and a half year old, friendly and loving Goldendoodle who was surrendered to Oodles of Doodles Rescue in NJ because his family did not have the time for him any more. He is good with children, very good with leash walking and housebroken. He is interested in cats but doesn't hurt them. He doesn't shed but does need to be groomed on a regular basis.

Dodger is sporting a Summer cut with a Mohawk, right now, is non-shed has medium to high energy needs and a FENCED YARD for daily exercise.

He gets along well with most all other dogs, gets excited when he first meets other dogs, but does not fight. He listens to basic commands.

Dodger was used to staying home alone, un-crated and does not damage any household furniture or property. Dodger will be neutered and updated with his shots. If you are interested, please fill out and application (Link).

Sounds like you had a good first night. That's wonderful. I bet within a few days, he is settled in and will be fine. Make his appointment this week and if it's out a bit, ask if they can call if there's a cancellation. Let me know if you need anything. I can't wait to see him without that mohawk. LOL

Yes, dear Lynne, isn't that always the way? We think we are helping a needy dog but that dog is also furthering our own journeies on the path of life.  This dodger fellow is exactly what Kylie needed and they are playing happily and resting side by side. Sweetest pic ever!  Dodger is a doll! Quiet, medium energy dog with the loveliest disposition, dodger is very trusting of humans and not at all spooky, he greeted men and women last night and again this morning on his little walk around the block. No messing in the house, no shedding, an over all pleasure to foster! I slept with him still tethered to me last night and we had a decent first night's rest. he spends a lot of time sniffing the ir for his mommy  but other than that , he was relaxed and lyig down near me. I have no doubt this boy will adjust beautifully to his new situation. thank you for inviting me to have a small part in his life, Lynne! I am thrilled with him in every way!  As soon as i can, I will get a new pic of him up for y'all.

You are the best, MP. Thank you for fostering him. He needed you and maybe you needed him, too.

Get a few better pics for us and I am glad you got rid of that mohawk. LOL

Dodger is HERE -- YEAAAAYYY! He is beautiful, has a lovely temperament and plays nicely with my other doodle. They are close in size and color and look handsome walking together on their matching leashes! I will report on him as he settles in and fully relaxes here. just know he is a doll-boy and very sweet. I love him already!
