Looking for a young adult Doodle

We are an Empty Nest couple. We own our own home. The yard of our house is totally fenced in. We are a loving couple with 10 grand children. We want a loving dog which is good with little children. Our dog will get a lot of love and attention. We are not equipped to raise a puppy therefore we want to adopt a young adult dog. We are willing to pay what ever expenses necessary.

Do you have an application on file? If so, have you applied for a particular dog? I am receiving a 4-year-old owner-surrender (economic reasons - mom returning to work, don't want to leave dog alone for so many hours per day) which is coming from the home of 1, 6 and 9 year olds. She will be posted once I get a picture, but if you already have an application in place, I can take a look at it. I am not sure where you are from, so there would be transport fees applicable if you couldn't "fetch" her.

I am totally 100% housetrained & tested up to 9 hours. I am going to be evaluated at Cold Nose College in Murphy, NC tomorrow & if admitted I might be exactly what you are looking for. Right now I just left a home with a 2,5 & 7 year old and their Mom will be glad to talk to you about me. They worked 8-10 hours a day, came home to the 3 kids, baths, homework & did not mean to leave me out but they just ran out of time & I was real lonely. On saturdays for a few hours, we got to play - needless to say I was THRILLED. That is why they surrendered me to DRC. My new foster Mom is teaching me alot & I now sit-stay & down-stay for a full minute & she can leave my site during that time. I do sit for attention & have not jumped up on them since the day we met. Yes, I do need all the love & attention that you have to give and I am learning that being calm is how I get to enjoy that love & attention. I live near Murphy, NC & my foster parents are willing to have prospective parents to come & spend a few days to get to know me. It's difficult to fall in love over the internet, and agree to adopt without having met & spent some time in person. We live on Lake Appalachia & it is beautiful here. Just keep in mind I am still in training - But I am gonna be dynamite! They will tell you that I am extremely smart, I let them sleep till 7am to 8:30am depending on when we go to bed, I sit & wait for my meals & don't start until given the OK from Foster Mom, I am not a barker but do alert to noises with one bark just for your safety, I play stick & ball & will release them to you, I ride in the back of the 4Runner & do not try to come up front, I have been polite to everyone I have met, I walk on a leash(but want to be in front-I am learning to be better, I love to swim & fetch the stick in the water. I live in Texas and searched the Adoptable Doodles site for weeks and was always too late. Since we were getting ready to travel to Georgia on vacation I decided to check that great state and found my Marco. Just complete your application and if you are able to travel watch other states also.
