Angel - Owner Killed in Tornado - Needs Home

ANGEL is my name! I'm a scruffy-cute ragamuffin with the best of every breed!! I'm full grown and small - I weigh about 20 lbs, and have a very gentle and playful nature. I'm perfect for any nice kid!! My owner died in the tornado and I was stray for a while until the neighbor brought me to the shelter. I hope I find a new home. . .

Rescue Partner Comment by Martha Gail Reece Henehan on April 24, 2011 at 6:55pm: All I will need to know is the approximate weight, rough guess, and dimensions of the box. In the future, I will suggest to Carla that we use the metal crates. They fold flat and would be cheaper to ship back. UPS penalizes more for size than weight. If you have a UPS drop off, that would save $5. UPS charges $5 to pick up, but if you are busy, I can order a pick up. The label will come electronically to your email. All you do is print it out and tape it to the box with clear tape.

The one Dolly came up in popped open, though when I took it out of the car. Thankfully, I was able to grab her. Need to tape the buckles or strap the carrier. I told Carla, too. Scared the heck out of me.

To save a bit of money, if you could break down those crates, stack them, and put them in a box, I could send you a UPS label, and have UPS pick them up. Would be cheaper than buying more. I am in the shipping business, and it shouldn't cost more than $20 to ship us three or four.
