All members of the rescue community and are horrified, shocked and saddened at what happened at the shelter at Chesterfield, SC. A shelter is supposed to be...well, a shelter. This hell hole is a killing ground for blood thirsty sport killers. Demand change.

There are allegations that 22 dogs and puppies were taken to the Chesterfield landfill in SC and shot by shelter employees. Rescuers were horrified as many of the dogs were to be picked up by rescue group that had agreed to taken them from the shelter for adoption.  The latest update states that the shelter has closed and 5 shelter employees are on administrative leave pending an investigation.  It is believed that about 50 dogs have suffered this horrible fate.

Demand a thorough investigation, termination & prosecution of employees at CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C animal shelter that are responsible for this horrific act!  Further demand that funds be appropriated to humanely euthanize animals using lethal injection. Please also insist that rescue groups be allowed to pull animals for future care and adoptions. Thank you for speaking out on behalf of the innocent animals!
