ADOPTED

Meet Patsy

Patsy is a 5 year old first-generation Labradoodle (half Lab & half poodle). She is very good with older children – but not with young and/or very active children; she LOVES cats; is good with other dogs; crate-, house-, car-, and leash- trained.

Patsy is extraordinarily smart and aims to please, which makes training a breeze! Patsy was not socialized beyond the breeder's family. She was rescued from a breeder who was
dumping them. But she is curious about the world and enjoys new things – she gets very attached and just needs to know that her human alpha female is right there with her, as she gets their clues about new experiences from "their" woman.

It is essential that she is adopted by someone who is confident and truly understands dogs. She will follow their woman around the house, unobtrusive and patiently waiting. She is very gentle and affectionate, and friendly to everyone in the family. Patsy needs a
solid month to warm up to a man, after that she's a love! She loves hikes, walks, and the dog park. She has not shown any chew, destroy, dig, or bark excessive behavior and loves playing with toys. She will chase any yard rodent, however!

Patsy has a super soft, non-shedding, wavy fleece coffee-colored coat. She is 45lbs and more solid than a standard poodle but not as solid as a Lab, but she still curls nicely into a car seat. She could stand to lose a few pounds, which we are working on.

Patsy is the calmest, easiest dog I've ever had. She is under total recall/voice command.  She has a lot more Lab qualities in that she is more curious than cautious. Patsy is utterly content to spend hours at your feet for a foot rub.  She is a big fluffy
heap of love and devotion, asks nothing of you except to be with you. A true angel.

Patsy is spayed, UTD on shots and in excellent health. She is registered and VWD & PRA clear per DNA.

Patsy needs a home without small children as she has spent most of her life breeding, and I think she is a little done with babies underfoot. She has never shown aggression to little children but it is very clear that she gets irritated and a little
distressed by them.

A physical fence would be preferred and a female centered home is required.

Rehome fee $300
