Just got back from the shelter. After walking around trying to find her I talked to the officers at the front and they told me that while I was in the back with the dogs our lady was adopted! So crisis averted and hopefully she has found herself a new wonderful home! Thank you everyone for helping me learn what I needed to do. At least now I have made a dry run of this and will be better prepared next time if need be!
