Anyone dealt with NYCACC successfully by phone or by email?
The central telephone number is a nonstop hold purgatory. When I do get through, getting transferred to the individual shelters is a hit-or-miss proposition... usually including (yes, you guessed!) lots more time on hold.
As I type this, I've been on hold for 34 minutes.
If anyone has good contact information for a shelter manager or worker, please pass it on!
