My wife and son jokingly emailing about our adopting a Doodle

From: Mom Margaret

A doodle is an aimless, absent-minded drawing scribbled while preoccupied by Patch. These drawings often resemble canine adventures with friends - hence we call these canine friends “Doodles”. Doodlers are doggies like Patch who are seeking doodles to play with when they are looking for mischief to get into.

Doodites are the people (us) who work for the Patch (Doodler) dogs and their Doodle friends, cleaning up after them and making sure they have food, water and treats on a regular basis. The Doodites also ensure that the Doodles get their exercise, vaccinations, and give them all the love and affection they need when they need it. Doodles are like small children and grandchildren in this respect.

Occasionally a Doodle will need rescuing if it’s in trouble and has been separated from its Doodite. A new Doodite must then be found so the doodle can continue its mischievous activity within the security of a Dome (Doodle Home). Additionally the Doodites answer the often asked and sometimes doodled foolish questions posed by both human and canine Doodlers and Doodles. This note is a good example.

Kisses and hugs to the doodles and doodlers in your house,

Ok, one question. What is a Doodle and why does it need rescuing?

You should have received an auto response that your application was received. If there is a match you should get a call. Good Luck, fingers and paws are crossed for you.

We sent in applications for either fostering or adopting one of three specific dogs. When will we get a response on those applications? Is it by mail, email, or phone?

Obey the Doodle!

Good Luck in your search. It sounds like you understand the "job requirements." LOL

I don't know Jim but we could be cousins by marriage. You never know.
