Yes, been looking on Pet Finder in all States.  Because of my cats, I want a younger dog to grow up with them.  I don't really want to bring in a strange adult dog with no knowledge of their background and take any chances with my furbabies.  So with that restriction its been difficult... I will keep looking.

Hi all - so excited to join the group!

My husband and I live in Vancouver, BC and are looking for a rescue mini golden doodle in our area.  We would be happy to drive to get them though :)

We would prefer an adult that is good natured, good with kids, house-trained and would be ok living in a townhouse.  Male or female doesn't matter.

We know there are lots of rescue dogs out there but have been looking regularly on petfinder.com and other sites and have yet to find anything that seems like a good fit - any help would be great appreciated!

Thanks so much!!

Hello!

My name is Melissa. I'm new to this forum, so I wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My husband and I live in Massachusetts and are looking to adopt a dog some time in the next few months. We would love for a puppy/young female labradoodle or goldendoodle that would end up somewhere in the 50-80 pound range when full grown. We have a large fenced in property and plenty of room for a dog to run and play both inside and outside the house. We have done a lot of searching at local shelters and on petfinder and can't seem to find any doodles in our area, but we are staying hopeful that one will come along and be a perfect fit for our family. We would be willing to foster to adopt or to just adopt straightout.

Nice to meet you all! :)

-Melissa

Sorry I missed this message Ashley. You need to keep an eye on the Canada listings. I know I have seen doodles available in various parts of Canada, you just need to be proactive and apply as soon as you see one. Good luck in your search and let us know how it goes.

Hi Melissa and welcome. Mass is one of those states with "odd" laws. We cannot operate our rescue in MA, fo fostering for us would be out of the question without the special licence we would need to rescue out of your state. There are, however, many rescues within MA, that you may want to look into if you want to foster. As far as adopting, keep an eye on the Northeast Listings as we do see doodles in MA available here and there. Apply, apply, apply is my best advice. Doodles get adopted quickly, so getting your application in quickly, or getting pre-approved before hand will give you a better chance. let us know how it goes and Good Luck.

Hi,
My name is Debbie I live in New Mexico.  I am looking for a young Goldendoodle or Labrodoodle for my son and his family.  They just moved back to the States from Korea where he has been stationed for 3 years.  They fell in love with Goldendoodle who is the sweetest, most gentle, smart dog I have ever owned.  My son was raised with dogs, cats and various other animal all of his life and is very responsible  in caring for animals.   They will be moving to Ft Hood, Texas soon so either  New Mexico or Texas area would be fine.

Deb, keep an eye on the Midwest Listings: http://www.doodlerescuecollective.com/group/midwest/forum/topics/mi...

And the Southwest Listings:

Good luck in your search.

Hi Everyone!  I'm from New York and am looking for a young black adult doodle around 2-4 years old.  We currently have a sweet 2 year old female goldendoodle and would like to add another to our family.  I do not have a preference for male or female.   This doodle would have to get along with other dogs and children.   Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Have you been through the Northeast Listings, Karen? There are pages of beautiful dogs just waiting for their Forever Home. Be proactive and fill out lot's of apps to increase your chances. Good Luck and we can't wait to hear the good news when you find each other.

Thank you Lynn, I have been checking and submitting applications.  I'm hoping that when the right doodle comes along it will all work out.

I’m looking for a well socialized, fun, active goldendoodle that will enjoy my lifestyle. I would prefer to have a standard size and one that is ok with traveling. I love riding horses and also work at a stable that has a few dogs he/she could run around and play with (of course not near the horses :) I am totally fine with an adult or older puppy. I am outdoors a lot, so they would be getting adequate exercise. I’ve been searching through dogs in my region and will continue to browse.

Thank you for any help or ideas!

Kate
