The Doodle Messenger wishes all friends of our sick doodles wonderful, healthy, and happy Christmas and Chanukah celebrations! And thanks those who donated to these doodles during 2011.  We know the dollars made sense to the doodles, their owners, and their primary veterinarians...and we have some success stories made possible by your donations to read about on our site.

We also want to announce a new, but TOP SECRET, gift that will be available to you as part of our fund-raising efforts.
We will be announcing that right after the New Year, so save your pennies for a precious gift for yourself!  The talentedJennifer Rudkin and her studio are helping us with this. No fair asking her now!

We will be listing Doodle Note Cards on a new site in January.  We only have copies of the second set available...here they are for you to smile about!

February will bring the first change in Board Members since we have started.  Be thinking if you would like to work behind the scenes with this wonderful group. We will be telling you how and when to apply and whose position you will take.  Being able to take time at a computer is critical, particularly when we are adding a new sick dood and must
e-speak and work on the background materials and story for the dog's placement.

AND, we hope to be breaking ground on a Q&A where you can get health and medical answers or worrisome issues to hold you over until you get to the vet. No advice is better
than your own vet's trusted hands on your dog...this piece is really to help you have ideas of what you might want to ask when you get to the office. This is tentatively titled:
" I'm At the End of my Leash!"

Lots going on and several successes for our sick 'kids.'  Many thanks to you for believing in our motto, "There will be sun in the morning."

And a special thanks to PetPlan for their continued support of the sick doodles.  Each dog registered for insurance
with them, with the owner using the Doodle promo name, sends $25.00directly to the Messenger and is there divided among the needy and sent to individual veterinarians.

Happy and Healthy New Year to you and your doodles!

Karan, do you have a link or email contact for people to order the cards? I ordered both sets last time and love them for sending notes.

Soon...they're going to be handled by a different site; will post when I have link. Thanks!

Great! Thanks.
