Hello, Thank you for the welcome. If you have any suggestions for a doodle to join our family I would appreciate it. I need a very young one to raise with my Yorkies or an older one that would be gentle with them. I did fill out the rescue application. I love the little Cricket in In. Doodle people on dk have been very inspiring. Again, thank you for your welcome, Kathy
it was very helpful. Thanks! Is there a "job" I can do that would help me get more involved but also allow me to learn about how these intermingled groups work? I can't take on the world, but maybe a city... :)

Okay. I have to admit that I am a total newbie at this and need a little direction. Maybe I should add this to Suggestions, but could you help me with a little with navigation around these different groups?? Scenario - I know a great family that made the decision to not purchase a doodle, but to rescue one instead. They're good friends of mine, so I know them and their values very well. I also know their strengths and weaknesses with what dog would work for them.
Is there a place to "advertise" the family looking for the doodle as opposed to searching through doodles? They could answer a some of the question in the interview/adoption process so that foster parents or those looking to place could contact them for more information once they say they are committed to adopting.
I've been trying to help them as much as I can because they have thought long and hard about whether it was time to get a dog or not, etc. and I know they are committed.
Anyway, I thought you might be able to help me be more concise or visit an area I don't know about yet.
I am trying to figure this all out before I find my "niche" of making an impact!
Hey Lynn....I thought I joined the foster group. Maybe it didn't go through. I check in on the food group from time to time but I really do not have much to add. I feed my dogs the bad diet (RAW) and so I don't keep up on the kibble world too much!!!!
Oh I love your glittery paws! How did you do that? I'll be posting some pictures soon of me and my babies both human and four legged. I'm glad to be here.
