I read the thread on the Zoo and just wanted to say that you are loved. We cannot change our past or choose our beginnings, but we can live in an authentic present and go forward into a future of our choosing. I firmly believe that you are a shining light in the world, despite your past. All you have done and are doing to move beyond makes you a good and better person. This time of the year may have brought memories you may not want to revisit but it also brings hugs and love from chosen friends, slobbery kisses from your fur family and hopefully, words that help you go on and remember that...YOU ARE LOVED.

I just got home and I am not sure which shelter you are referring to. Where are you seeing this?

I am still hoping all will be well with George and with you. I am so sorry for all the trials and tribulations you are facing right now. Keep walking through it and soon you will be on the other side.

I believe we have to have the bad stuff in our lives to be able to appreciate the good. You have many friends and I know from the experiences of the past 6 months, especially, that others will be there for you if you let them and if you open yourself up to possibilities, things happen.

My mother used to tell me that, "when one door closes another opens." I never really realized it is true until in my 50's and the new found clarity that comes with age, I suppose. But even after all the horror, sadness, negativity, pain and struggles of the past, I am so much happier now, and believe that in what I am doing is right. All the uncertainty of 6 months ago, is gone. My best advice would be to open yourself up to what you love and your path will become clear.

Some suggestions:
~ Befriend others who think like you and do something good with them.
~ Write some guest blogs on our Doodle Soup (or somewhere)
~ Start a new book, write it all down (even if never published, it will be cathartic)
~ Volunteer somewhere
~ Help someone else through something hard.

I was wondering how it is going and what happened with the results. I hope all is well with you and George. I have been thinking about you the last few days.

Again, we will continue to send good and healing thoughts your way. If there is anything we can do to help, please don't hesitate to ask. Try to think positive thoughts at all times, putting good into the Universe brings good, back.

Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and George. It is so horrible when our canine loves have something like this to go through. You need to be strong for him because he doesn't understand what's happening. You have many friends who are there for you. Sending Hugs to both of you.

Awh, can we do anything to help? Maybe start a fund drive to help pay the adoption fee. What can we do? Poodles for Grandma? Think about it.

I am glad you are feeling better and I am sorry about the job situation. I hope this economy turns around soon, it's horrible. Thanks for befriending Eliz. I think we can withstand the "onslaught" with allies and when faced with a slander-fest by "others" it's nice to have people in your corner. United we stand, divided we fall sort of thing. Please keep your chin up and let us know if we can help.

Or maybe we know each other from Kat Glankler....she and I were great friends before she moved to Colorado - I used to send Doodles to KY Lab Rescue via her.

If he needs, do you have a link or pic to put him in the listings?
Where is he, etc. Susan Decker does the SE listings, if you're not sure where to put a listing, you can post it to her page and she will get it up. Unless you would like to be added as an Admin, then you can post yourself. Whatever is easiest for you. Hugs!
