Zoey Found her Forever Home!

This little ragamuffin is my latest foster Oodle. Just looking at her Petfinder picture told me I had to save her. She was just one day from euthanization in a South Carolina Kill shelter and came to NJ to find her Forever Family.

She just needed a little time to adjust, she went truth so much lately it is normal that she was nervous and had some accident... Love and patience, that all she needed...

Admin Comment by LM Fowler - Admin on October 15, 2010 at 9:37pm: Zoey is back with me and we are still looking for her forever home. Things didn't work out with her adoptive family so she is here and coming out of her shell, again.

She was very nervous when I brought her home and took a day to feel comfortable. She had one accident in her crate and none since. Over this weekend I will get her out of the crate and housetrained and then find her home. She is doing good with it so far and holds it all night and all day while I am at work.

She seems to feel safe in the crate and goes in there even with the door open. She is such an itty bitty, I think she will break with the big dogs, but she holds her own.

So, Zoey is here and we are looking again.

Admin Comment by LM Fowler - Admin on October 10, 2010 at 7:59pm: Well, Zoey is now named ANGEL as she is a perfect angel. Shy and a bit shaky after her long road trip in a crate from SC to NJ, she warmed up to me on the way home.

The family I had picked out for her welcomed us in to their home and fell in love with her. This family had been looking for awhile for the perfect girl and today they found each other. They have a 16 year old girl who will make sure Angel wants for nothing.

They promise to send pictures, which I will post and...

Angel, have a great life!
