Zoey Found her Forever Home!

This little ragamuffin is my latest foster Oodle. Just looking at her Petfinder picture told me I had to save her. She was just one day from euthanization in a South Carolina Kill shelter and came to NJ to find her Forever Family.

Zoey was licking her face and sat in her lap while she filled out the adoption contract. She got a little nervous when they were in the car but she will be fine. I'll call a bit later and check on them. But I think this is the right thing for Zoey. Have a great life little girl.

Zoey is back on Petfinder and I am sure I will find the perfect home this week.

Comment by Sue & the Crew on October 17, 2010 at 4:52pm: Oh, this was sad to read. For goodness sake, Abbey barfed in the house yesterday. I scooped, got the old wet vac out, and after 15 minutes...all was well. I guess the family did not fully (or even nearly) understand what it is like to have a dog, let alone a rescue dog. I am happy to hear at least they contacted you and Zoey is back safe with you Lynne. The right family will come along to give Miss Zoey her forever home.
