I dropped Abbey off this morning to be spayed. Poor girl. She did not enjoy the car ride without her sisters - she was pretty upset. Then mean mommy left her at the vet :(

I'm worried because she's had reactions to her vaccines, and now I'm nervous about the anesthetic/meds they will have to give her. I spoke to the vet about this and they assured me she will be OK. Still, I can't help but be nervous. Anyways, I can't wait to just get my baby back home today.

Thanks ladies. Abbey had a vet visit yesterday to check out a strange lump at her incision area. It is nothing to be worried about. According to DH, the vet said Abbey is just producing extra "goo" for healing. Now I am pretty sure the vet did not use the term "goo" but that was how it was explained to me...LOL.

She is acting like her normal self, just one more week of keeping her as calm as possible and we can relax.

You're right ... never a dull moment. I think I remember Ginger had a similar swelling and it eventually went down. Scary though. Let us know what he says.

Oh, never a dull moment with Abbey. She now has a lump next to, and sort of 'under', her incision - a bit larger than the size of a golf ball. It is definitely not the incision itself that has swelled, but something underneath. She is in no pain, the area is not red, bruised, or 'oozing'. Still, she is going to see the vet this morning. When I spoke to my vet, they didn't seem concerned, and said it could be a swellling reaction to the inner stitches.

Otherwise I cannot keep the little bugger calm. She just wants to play, play, play with her sisters.
