Chris and I spent two hours last night cutting the matts out, line brushing, combing and then clippering Tessa’s wooly coat. It looks short but that is merely because we had to take a lot of the curl off. She is SO happy. All the matts are gone now. And she’s not completely SHAVED to the skin! Tonight we are trimming her face a bit and fixing her wild tail to make it all look uniform with the rest of her. She will also be getting a bath with some rich conditioner to keep everything smooth and lovely. It was actually fun… she was amazing. Laid on her side or sat when we needed her to. She even closed her eyes for some of it… totally at ease with us. We even got kisses throughout. Hehe. Chris said she was so frisky this morning, seeming to love her new do! :-)
