Cupcake is a sweet, 5 year old, possible Shih Tzu mix. She was abandoned by her family at a high kill shelter in VA. We rescued her and brought her to NJ to find her perfect forever home. She is spayed, utds on shots and HW-.

Her foster mom says, "Cupcake aka pound cake aka Honey Boo Boo LOL. She is used to being an only dog so she doesn't understand the concept of sharing. She's not aggressive, just highly vocal so being an only dog would be in her best interest. She is at least 2 lbs overweight. She sits by the dinner table so nice and polite, not begging, no barking, just the tail wagging. You want to give her a treat for being so good. That's probably how she got so overweight. She is on a diet right now with daily walks. She is excellent on a leash and seems to enjoy her walks. Her very favorite thing is sitting on the top cushion of the sofa with her head on my shoulder while we watch tv at night. She has now been groomed and is ready to find her Forever Home."

THE LOCATION GIVEN IN THE DOG'S NAME IS WHERE HE or SHE IS LOCATED. Unless otherwise stated, WE DO NOT ADOPT, SHIP OR TRANSPORT OUR DOGS AWAY FROM THE AREA THEY ARE IN. WE DO NOT ADOPT TO URBAN/APARTMENT ENVIRONMENTS. WE REQUIRE FENCED YARDS (an e-fence is not a secure fence). PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MATCH WHAT WE ARE ASKING FOR.
