Sorry, this got buried in my in-box. Yup, Duff is from a kill shelter in NC. He's such a good boy, too. Sweet, goofy, happy-go-lucky boy. We're getting lots of apps and I just need to find the time to sit and read them all.

Merle is french for... Robin. As for blackbird, depend witch one you are thinking of. Red wing blackbird is carouge!! Blackbird (with dark blue collar) are étourneau!

This guy is simply gorgeous! I don't understand that somebody would let him go... Maybe it is for the best, in NJ he will find a good loving forever home.

Kelly says he's a really sweet boy, too. Imagine someone losing him and not coming to the shelter to retrieve him. It makes no sense, he's gorgeous.

Ok, I will go see if I can find him now. That big fella is gorgeous. I hope he is a good boy for Kelly. hee,hee... sometimes those first few days they are great and then--watch out! They gets all comfy and start showing off their little ''tricks''. LOL!  God bless Kelly and you for taking him in and same blessings for all the helpers along the way.

I put in to tag another dog in a NC Kill shelter, who had been rescued already and the shelter manager said that he just got in a doodle, "do I want him?" Of course, I said yes. He was a stray and no-one came for him, can you imagine? I like Duffy, too. Let me see what Kelly says, she's gonna foster him. Did you see Terry? (So far, just on my FB page.) Doing him here, now.

I love the name ''Duffy'' for him!! He looks like a Duffy, lol!  He is JUST. SO. CUTE.  What is his story/background, Lynne?
