One of Oodles of Doodles Newest Rescue girls will be on her way to NJ in another week. But we are already so excited, we just wanted to share.

This is Miss Mattie's shelter picture. When I first saw it, I immediately thought Oodle. She looked so small and scared, I wrote a rescue offer right away.

My friends at Paws, pulled her for us and this pretty lady will be on the June 4th transport, coming to rescue in NJ and will be looking for her Forever Family.

Her present foster mom, Gail says Mattie is about 4 months old and a very sweet, playful girl. She can be all rough and tumbley puppy one minute and a little love bug, the next. Mattie has now been spayed and vetted and is resting up before her big trip.

Here's another great pic of her. It's a little fuzzy, but you can really see how beautiful she is. We think she may be an Irish Doodle but we'll wait and see until she gets up here.

I am meeting transport about 11, so just a few more hours. I can't wait to hug this girl. It seems like I have been waiting a long time for her. She looks like she is taking transport in stride, like it's a big adventure. It's because of you Gail, that she is so well adjusted, think of that first shelter pic...she looked petrified. Now look at her!

Oh...........I am going to miss her so much. This picture warmed my heart but made me so sad. She was such a good baby but loved to nip my heels when she was following me around the yard trying her best to start a game. Yes, even good little Mattie had her "stinker" moments. You know, I don't think that I ever heard this dog bark.

Linda, I haven't even listed her yet. She will go to a foster home and we will take applications and find her the very best home.

Gail, I think you are just prejudiced. You are such a great foster mommy, they are all great dogs.

None that I know of. When she leaves me on the 11th, she will go to a foster. Mattie is such a good girl, she would be a great addition to any household. I have fostered a lot of dogs, and thought my Dolly was the best, but Mattie is surpassing Dolly at this point considering Dolly was an adult, and Mattie is still a baby.  Mattie is just happy to be wherever she is and tries very hard to be obedient and to learn new things.

Awh, I can't wait to snuggle her. What a good girl. I think she's gonna like being a Jersey Girl, too. We'll have to see about getting her to the beach before she goes to her new home. At least, we'll get to teach her to swim. Thank you so much, Gail for taking such good care of our Oodle Girl.

Mattie is not only gorgeous outside, she is just gorgeous through and through. She gets along so well with the other dogs, never complains when I have to crate her. Actually she never complains about anything. Happy, playful, and so well behaved considering she is still a puppy. She still has her puppy teeth! She's just a baby! At bedtime, when I let her inside, she goes straight to her crate and goes to sleep. She only whines if she needs to go outside to pee and then it is just a little reminder whine. In the mornings, she wakes up happy and wagging, and bounces out the back door into the morning sunshine and starts to play. Mattie has been an absolute joy and so very easy to foster. She had staples after her spay surgery just for added insurance and less down time on a playful pup and today when I was removing them, she quietly laid on her back and let me take them out. Mattie is just an amazing dog.
