MEET FLYNN - http://www.petfinder.com/petdetail/18035063
Flynn is a 3 month old, first gen. Labradoodle boy from a BYB (puppy mill) in PA. This sweet boy was adopted by his "breeder" to a family in New Jersey. He was returned to the "breeder" because he wasn't holding down his food and their vet said it would be an expensive surgery to fix an esophagus problem.
Flynn has only been with me for a few hours but in that time, he met my pack, played with some puppy chew toys that I found around the house and has eaten my homecooking several times and has had no problems. I started by giving him a few bites here and there and he held it down and came back for more. Just plain chicken, smashed peas and brown rice.
I went looking at the papers that came with him and the family was feeding Purina Puppy Chow. Could this be the problem? We will see. I have an appointment for Monday and some housetraining to do, then Flynn will be looking for his new Forever Family.

Absolutely. I give it a few times a week. Mine like the plain and the vanilla, blueberry and banana
Have you all tried plain yogurt? It is wonderful for them. I give some everyday two Tbls.
Thanks, Sue. He is a great guy. Sad, his early months were so horrible. That's why I don't want to move him from place to place. He has had too many upheavals in his short life. His next home will be his last.
Flynn is just so adorable as is the rest of the six pack. He looks like a happy, healthy, typical puppy to me. I just want to squeeze him to bits, he's so adorable. I love the puppy face in the camera that is just priceless. Lynne, you and your pack are what Flynn needed, and it sure shows in that happy little puppy.
Maybe I will try to put it in their food instead of their water. Thanks!
Well I am glad it's better now. I put it in their food and just a couple tablespoons in a big bag of chicken. I think it's like 3 pounds and I don't do it every batch. Only every batch or so.
I did put about 1/2 tsp in their big bowl of water in the morning. After a few days she start to vomit bile almost every day. Since I stop putting it in their bowl she stop vomiting too. Nobody else was sick neither Thalie or the cats...
She did? How? I just use a few tablespoons in a big pot. Maybe you were giving too much? What was she doing.
I took corn out of my girls's diet too. Thalie didn't got sick since. As for the apple cider I had to stop, it was Gamine who start to get sick with that.
LOL, you're prejudiced. He really is doing well. Taking corn out of his diet, will be a good thing, regardless of anything else. He is getting fish oil as well. So he will finally be on a road to health.
