Meet Mr. Dooley: Schnoodle or Doodle or Wheaten?

Dooley Is ADOPTED.

Found as a

stray, he was never claimed.

How is that possible? He's

beautiful.

This is one sweet boy. He is smaller than Jazzy, who is

a Mini Goldendoodle and larger than Cody who is a Bijon.

He's very skinny and will need some fattening up. And he'll need a bath and haircut so he can see. But what a sweet boy he is.

Dools stayed with me a week while I read the many applications that came and narrowed it down to the perfect family for him. Dooley is now adopted and his new family is over the moon for him. He has 2 sisters, his own back yard and his own family...Forever. Have a great life, Dooley.

He fell in the pool last night but needed a bath anyway. LOL He's little, though. Wheaten sites list a Wheaten at about 30#, he's about 1/2 that. I cut some of the hair out of his eyes last night and he can see better now. I am going to call my groomer today to clean him up. But he's very sweet and likes to sit on laps. So far, so good.

This is an example of the "perfect" beauties that can be found in shelters all over this country. He was listed as a Schnoodle in the shelter, but wheaten or doodle, he's some kind of Oodle and we'll bring him to NJ and find him a wonderful home so he never finds himself alone again. He came down with kennel cough in the shelter and has been in a foster home to recover and now is ready to come, that's probably why he looks so sleepy in these pics.
