MEET GABE!

Gabe is a shy, handsome and sweet little boy who had a terrible start to his life but will live in love and happiness for the rest of it.

Finding himself in a high kill Southern shelter was not a good thing for this sweet boy and he was close to losing his life, but now has found his second chance with Oodles of Doodles at my home.

He will be having his snip-snip tomorrow and will be ready to look for his new family.

Here's his Petfinder Ad - Meet Gabe. Gabe is a handsome, sweet boy from a Southern kill shelter. He will need socialization and training but is very lovable and smart. He learns quickly and responds to positive reinforcement. We think he is about a year old and he gets along with other dogs and seems indifferent to cats. Gabe is neutered and up to date on his shots. He does not like being on a leash which might be because he was never taught or because of something in his past but will learn to be a great dog with patience and time. The ideal adopter will be able to give Gabe time and patience and a Forever Home where he can feel safe and loved. A fully fenced yard would be ideal. He is about 8 months old and just a happy puppy. He's not a crazy boy as some puppies can be but happy-go-lucky-happy-to-be-alive, kind of puppy. I thought he wouldn't like the snow, coming from KY but he loves it...to roll in, to run in, to bury his face in. He loves to be rolled in a towel to be dried off and have his belly rubbed. He is a doll baby and still looking for his perfect home in NJ.

You should start a blog yourself and tell us how Friendly is. It is almost a year since you had him. Can you believe it? We would love to see pictures and hear his Happy Tale. Hugs to you and Friendly. Lynne
