Guess who's coming to NJ?

Surrendered to a kill shelter down South, Dolly is a sweet.......

What breed do you think she is?

Dolly is a gorgeous Itty Bitty who found herself in a Southern Kill Shelter and was rescued and was transported to NJ. Dolly is very sweet and is a little shy at first, but warms up and trusts quickly. She is only about 15 pounds and we would prefer a home without small children and a physical fence. Dolly is being fostered in Toms River, NJ, and her foster mom says she is near perfect. If you are interested in adopting Dolly and giving her a Forever Home, please send an application.

Dolly is now in her Forever Home. Her foster family could not stand for her to leave them, so they adopted her themselves. The entire family is head over heels for her and she even has 2 fur brothers who love her too. Good Luck, Dolly!

Good morning, Lynn.  Nother bittersweet parting....my babies left this morning headed your way. I searched in vain for proper fitting harnesses and none were available so please notify the transport people to be very careful when walking them.  I noticed that their weights weren't correct on Petfinder. Shirley is very itty bitty and weighs only 12 pounds or less. Eddie weighed in at 9 pounds last time he was weighed, but has grown a bit since and probably weighs 10 pounds now. Shirley is smaller but is a little fatty. Both of them were Vet checked 4 days ago prior to this trip. Shirley's little eye has appeared irritated. The vet checked it and said it was okay, but I put some triple antibiotic ointment on it before she left so her eye might appear greasy. The main thing that I need to say about these two are that they are just the happiest little dogs. They absorb every bit of attention that you care to give them.  They will steal the heart of their foster.  Even my brother, who swears that he doesn't like dogs, was all bummed out this morning when they left. Tell the foster that Eddie is going to be timid and standoffish, but will come around when he sees his Momma soaking up all of the attention. Both are very housebroken and crate trained. I even had them trained to come inside from the back yard and to go to the crate independently...with a little piece of a wiener treat afterwards, of course. They will do anything you want for a treat! Eddie loves attention but it takes him a while to respond.  He kind of sits back and watches what goes on with Momma before he gives in.  Both of them love attention and loving. Let me know when they get there.  I am overly worried about those crappy harnesses and hope they don't get away.  Shirley always minded me and came back to me and Eddie would when he saw his Mom was okay with it. Sitting on pins and needles hoping they arrive safe and soundly.

From what I have seen of little Timmy, One Step Closer is gonna be "two steps behind" upon his arrival. I have always called him Timmy the Terror instead of Terrier. He and I went through some hard times together.  The day that I pulled him from the Shelter, my van broke down. And re: My fosters: I don't know if circumstance gives me these crazy ones, or if I make them that way. Regardless, they are all endearing.

Timmy isn't mine, just Eddie and Shirley. They are going to be fostered by my foster Kelly. I think Timmy is going to One Step Closer Rescue. I can't wait to meet them. They sound like real characters.

Do you have fosters for Eddie, Shirley and Timmy? I don't know about Timmy but Eddie and Shirley are very housebroken and crate trained.  Might want to have them together for awhile until they adjust so none of the training gets undone. Right now as it stands they are as "good" as Dolly was, except when Shirley gets excited she is very vocal. Eddie just vibrates and dances quietly. He is such a sweet mess. Shirley walked all the way across the kitchen today for a treat. Eddie walks upright, too, but has only mastered walking backwards on his hind feet. Both are good candidates for the circus.

That's good news! I took one in today from a kill shelter up here. They contacted me last week and I scrambled all weekend to find a foster. Thankfully, I did and he's now safely out of the shelter. It's tough right now. Thank you for thinking of us.

I have messaged many people and it appears the Labradoodle was adopted as it is no longer on the website. Thank you so much for the consideration anyway.

Oy, unless you can foster him, I am full and have no fosters available until some go home. I posted Angel, send me the link for the doodle and I'll take a look. Can you or Carla pull from there? Like I said, we are desperate for fosters up here.
