Miss Mollie will also be arriving in NJ on the June 4th transport. This little girl will be looking for true love, maybe for the first time in her life. Here's the first picture I have of her.

Notice the chain? That was what struck me the hardest. Mollie is an owner surrender and she has spent all her days on that chain.

Mollie is very sweet, bubbling with personality and gets along with other dogs and cats. She's only 9 months old, spayed, UTD on shots and we would love to find her a home where she can run and play and never be on a chain again.

As soon as we get more info, I'll update.

Lynne, when Lisa came to get Mattie and Mollie, did you happen to ask about Dolly? I think about her a lot. Any updates on Eddy and Shirley?

Mollie is going tomorrow to be shaved down. I tried to cut some of it out of her but it was impossible. Lisa said she would get her over first thing in the morning. She'll be more comfortable, too in a summer cut. We'll get some pics to show you as soon as she's done.

Honestly, Lynne, I had Mollie given a bath at the vet two times. They also gave her flea meds. Poor little thing really does need to be sheared off in a Puppy cut.  I was going to have that done, but all the groomers were booked for a solid month due to this heat wave down here. And knowing Mattie, she probably fell in the pool on purpose, and was smart enough to make it look like an accident. Never under estimate this girl, LOL, she is smart! And I remember telling you to get her a life jacket or guard the pool. I know how she is! Loves water more than any dog that I have ever seen. She would have been more loving and more personable, but you had water....her only distraction! Maybe the new owners will teach her how to surf.  She is laid back, smart enough, and confident enough to accomplish about anything...but anything around water would be her first love. Bear....my first thought, please, Lynne's dogs, whip Bear into shape. For two years, all he had was a couple of chihuahuas to bully. Here, just poor humble Mattie. And at Reba's, a poor little Schnauzer who was an abused Shelter rescue himself and completely terrified of him since Bear was twice his size. But if you saw what we got him from...the filth and degredated uncivilized and illiterate humans who reared him for two years with little food and no attention, tied out in the yard in all kinds of weather with no shelter....you would realize that poor Bear is lucky to be as civilized as he is. These people threw their garbage, food scraps, etc. out by their front steps. Flies were swarming and there they sat on the porch with Deliverance written all over them without the musical ability. But I swear I heard banjos playing when Reba described this situation to me.  Personally, I think he has done well. And I can actually see progress, believe it or not, and we only had him a couple of weeks. There really is hope for Bear.  All he needs is enough food and a great big toy box.  Reba said that Bear was so amazed at her basket of doggie toys for the taking, that he would jump up on the hour just to check out to see if it was still there, sometimes without taking a toy. His security was just knowing that it was still there for him in case he needed something. Bear is a mess but if you had seen his situation first hand...you would understand how pitiful he really is. But there is hope.  He is so much better now in just a couple of weeks! I love you guys up there. Thank you for taking care of my babies for the rest of their lives. And if my health keeps in check, I will keep sending them.  I just wish that I had had more time for Mollie and Bear but you guys are young and healthy enough to pick up where Mollie and Bear were left off.

Lisa is taking Mattie to her brother's home, they are adopting this sweetie pie. Then she is going to foster Mollie. I am keeping Bear here with me until he is adopted. My pack will whip him into shape real quick. Mollie has been the most lovable (and stinkiest) of the 3. She has come over to me several times to be petted. Mattie has already fallen in the pool and Bear loves the other Schnoodle and Bordoodle, I have here. They are all wearing themselves out. I plopped Mollie in the kiddie pool to get some of the stink off her and she let me bathe her with no problems. She is really matted so I am going to ask Lisa to take her tomorrow and have her shaved down. I cut out some of the mats, but she's a mess. Poor thing. But, the three of them are beautiful, happy, wonderful babies. Thank you, so much, Gail. You have done a wonderful job.

Is Lisa taking all three?? LOL I can vouch that will be fun. Three very, very different personalities. Maybe Mollie will roll Bear Boy all over the yard and wear him out good.

All three are out and running around the backyard. They should be good and wore out by the time Lisa gets here.

Thanks for keeping me informed.  I am sitting here on pins and needles. Get my girl outta that confining little crate and give her a big hug and kiss. Save Mollie till last cause you will be exhausted when she gets done with you! LOL

Leaving now to go meet the transport. I plan on squeezing all three of them.
