Chris took over dog sitting this past weekend while I was away visiting family in NJ. Apparently, they had a great time without me -- dog park visits, treats, wrestling matches... and, afternoon naps.

Member Since 2009 Max's Thanksgiving

Well Thanksgiving 2009 has come and gone - Lots to be thankful for and yet still things to keep working on. As one of the Millions of drivers on the road for thanksgiving I can say I am very happy there wasn't much traffic. Luckily it appears that being on the road early paid off. Member Since 2009 Mainstream Max

Well Max has settled in - now the job is to keep him moving :-) like that takes a lot of effort. Anyway Max is like a new set of pockets on my shorts - his head is always on my leg :-) We spend the evening hours after his feeding working on commands and behavior outside. Morning time has been set to getting business done first - then everyone dressed and some play time before departure for work. Member Since 2009 New tricks...

It's been a busy week in our household with the renos still going on. Poor pups haven't had much Mommy/Daddy time so on Saturday, we got down the floor with them for some belly rubs and tug of war. We also thought to challenge them with a nice "teaching new tricks" session. Chris is the king of teaching dogs new tricks. Our Cody is a little more obedient than doodly Tess. She'd rather shake paw 10 times before learning anything new. It's so funny.

It's so precious to watch Marco interact with Max & Lilly, (our two bengal kitties). Marco has recently decided to adopt a chair and ottoman in our living room that no one ever sits in! We have officially named it the "Marco magnet" because he just seems to be "sucked" up into it for some serious comfortable relaxion time! Member Since 2009 Puddle Jumping...

Saturday in Oakville Ontario started like any other. Waking up a little later, letting the dogs out for their morning release, eating breakfast together... everyone was happy and... clean.

Member Since 2009 Surgery Assistance

Is there anyone in the Washington, DC area that would keep my son's Goldendoodle (Ginger) for approx. 4-5 weeks. He has been unemployed for nearly a year and must have hip replacement. He is coming to Seattle, WA to have this surgery (to stay with his parents to recoup) and has no one to keep her nor can he afford to board her for that period of time. He does not want to give her up as she is his constant companion, he just needs help during this time. I so hope someone out there can help him.… Continue

Member Since 2009 Looking for a young adult Doodle

We are an Empty Nest couple. We own our own home. The yard of our house is totally fenced in. We are a loving couple with 10 grand children. We want a loving dog which is good with little children. Our dog will get a lot of love and attention. We are not equipped to raise a puppy therefore we want to adopt a young adult dog. We are willing to pay what ever expenses necessary.

Everyday is an adventure with Marco around. It's so much fun to watch his progress on a daily basis. Member Since 2009 Rain = happy dog + frizzy coat!

The winter weather is hitting us hard on City Island.

We have rain for the next 3 days!

I have my good old British Barbar, Coogee has his dog coat for when it gets colder.

We just came back from our afternoon walk, he was so thrilled to splash in every puddle and sniff the wet grass.

He cracked me up when he was under the trees, there were lots of large water drops hitting him and he kept looking up and wondering what/who was dropping things on him! LOL

Member Since 2009 Coda!

We just renamed our new puppy Coda*! She's the cutie that was called "Midnight", one of two pups fostered by Lynne in NJ.

I met Lynne yesterday and brought the little girl home yesterday. She met everyone, but mostly slept yesterday evening. She spent the night in her crate in my son's room and slept until 5am, went out, then went back to sleep. This morning she came to life, exploring the yard and house, and even got a bath. Member Since 2009 It all seems so easy with Coogee

Thursday - 8 th 2009

It is wierd to think that we have had Coogee for 5 days already. He is already so at ease here and we can not belive how easy he has been (apart from the very first night!).

He sleeps all through the night, has sniffed the cat but not bother her, eats his food, no more accidental wees in the house, starting to poop regularly outside, really improved on his leash - no too much pulling in all directions AND STILL and gentle as ever!
