Come join some groups! There is a lot to learn. Don't forget to click on "Follow" or "Notify" in Forum and Discussions. That way you get an e-mail notice whenever someone posts. Join the Suggestion Box Group, too. Ask questions and play around. Let us know if you need anything.

What should you do now? If you haven’t changed your icon photo to something more personal, it's easy to do...

Under the pawprint logo on your page click on "change photo" then "profile pic" blue/green box. Upload a pic from your computer...browse, add, done. Don't forget to click save on the bottom and you should now have your own icon pic. You can also make your page personal and add some of your own pics by following other prompts on your main page. Your page is yours to add, change or do with as you wish. Don't be afraid to explore it.

Next, come join some discussions in the Main Forum, Start your own Blog and Join a few groups. Don't forget to click "Follow" or "Notify" in any discussion you wish to follow.

Jump in...we love new topics, ideas and opinions. Read some topics to get an idea of where we're at. Share your own stories.

Go into the NorthEast listings and click on "Follow" on the bottom of the listing. Every week, Jacquie goes through and updates, you will get an email every time it's updated.

Another suggestion is to fill out apps in many of the shelters and rescues in the NorthEast. Even if you do not get that dog, they will keep your app on file and call you the next time they get a dog that matches your wants. Approved apps will get called even before the listing gets to Petfinder.

You also put down that you would like to foster for us. Jeannine also gave you the link to our application for fostering. We are building our foster file, so fill that out and I'll put you on the list.

I am in Middletown and Jacquie is in Montclair, so we're Jersey girls, too. Welcome aboard!
